Maliye Piyango SK Ankara from Turkey broke the resistance of their rivals, Bulgarian Montana Volley, in the easiest way – 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-22), with 21 points from Estonian Oliver Venno and 83% attack (5/6) from Uğur Güneş.

Thanks to 20 points from Austrian Paul Buchegger and 5 kill blocks from Enrico Diamantini, Italian Bunge Ravenna surpassed Portuguese side Sport Lisboa e Benfica in four sets.

That’s exactly the amount of sets Russian Gazprom-Ugra Surgut and Greek Olympiacos Piraeus needed to prevail against hosts Biogas Volley Näfels from Switzerland and Par-ky Menen from Belgium, respectively.
