While Asian teams are competing to seize their own place, Maldives Club gave an end to the tournament contented with the 13th place to be titled as the last team of Asia.
Maldives Club in preliminary round within pool D lost to Almaty, Toyoda Gosei Trefuerza, and Saham. In the second round, this very team lost to Uzbekistan Club to be ended up with 4 losses as the 13th team of Asia.
