As respectable Argentinian journalist Santiago Gabari wrote on „Voley Plus“, the setter Nicolás Uriarte does not train with the national team for a while and is out from preparations for Rio Olympics.

Uriarte was replaced by Demián González for the 2016 World League matches in Europe and left to train at Argentinian National Center of High Performance Athletics (CeNARD) to prepare for the finish of the World League and Olympic Games. But the latest news says – Uriarte is no longer a part of the current Olympic process and will not compete for a position at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro!

There is yet no explanation from Argentinian NT of Argentinian Volleyball Federation on this…

I like this guy. But González is fast and great setter. For me, even De Cecco is not better than him. He played in Brazil Last season. He was great. Put a avarege team in final of Superliga. The players of Argentinian are not so tall, they need balls more fast. For this, González is the best.
