Minas vs. Osasco
With an impeccable performance at their “Minas Arena” in Belo Horizonte, in front of a nearly full house (3.100 spectators), The side coached by Paulo Barros Júnior ‘Paulo Coco’ swept powerhouse Vôlei Nestlé/Osasco away 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-22) in the 18th round of Superliga. Minas libero Léia Silva was announced MVP of the match.
It was the eighth consecutive victory of the team from the Minas Gerais state to maintain fourth place in the standings for the playoffs and decrease advantage of third-placed Osasco to six points.

By defeating São Cristóvão Saúde/São Caetano in three sets, partially 25-13, 25-23 and 25-16 at their “Hebraica” gymnasium, Fluminense F.C. secured a playoff spot, being No.7 seed at the moment. This loss marked a goodbye for São Caetano to the playoffs. Fluminense middle blocker Lara Nobre earned the MVP of the match award.
