Brazilian Women’s Volleyball Superliga club E.C. Pinheiros hired a player that can cover both attacking positions.

A 27-year-old receiver/opposite and former Brazilian National Team member, Ivna Marra, returned to her home country after spending a season abroad. Last season, she wore the jersey of the French runners-up Entente Sportive Le Cannet-Rocheville Volley-Ball.

Besides Ivna, Pinheiros hired four more players this week: setter Diana Xavier (São Cristóvão Saúde/São Caetano), receiver Mariana Cassemiro “Mari Cassemiro“ (Genter/Vôlei Bauru), opposite Bruna Honório (was in the top 10 Superliga scorers last season with 321 points, Genter/Vôlei Bauru), and middle blocker Roberta Pereira (Terracap/BRB/Brasília Vôlei).
