Sesi-vs-Minas
By beating Sesi on the road in four sets, partially 25-16, 25-19, 20-25, 25-19, Minas heated up the fight for the third place in the regular stage.
Robson Devoranen “Bob”, Pétrus Montes (5 kill blocks), and Felipe Roque, all from Minas, shared the top scorer of the match title, with 15 points apiece. Felipe Fonteles “Lipe” collected 12 points for Sesi.
With this result, Minas remained fifth-ranked but came only one point far from today’s rivals in the standings, who are No.4. The third-placed EMS Taubaté Funvic, who prevailed away against JF Vôlei (3-1), have two points more than Minas and one point more compared to Sesi.
Exactly Minas and Taubaté will directly confront for third place, on February 17.
