EL W: Bulgaria, Belarus, Croatia, Azerbaijan and Czech Republic scored the first wins in Golden League

The first matches of the Golden European League were played and Bulgaria, Belarus, Croatia, Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic celebrated their first wins.

  

In the CEV Golden European LeagueBelarus and Slovakia were first teams to serve their fans in a five-setter, while Bulgaria and Croatia played straight-set victories on home courts. Azerbaijan were fortunate to experience the biggest crowd of supporters among the winners today, defeated Ukraine in four sets. The support of local fans was not enough for Spain, who faced a loss against the Czech Republic in three sets.

Slovakia vs. Belarus 2-3 (24-26, 25-18, 24-26, 25-21, 8-15)

Spain vs. Czech Republic 0-3 (23-25, 21-25, 12-25)

 

In CEV Silver European League  Sweden and Austria scored the big wins in front of the home spectators.
