Check out some of the latest men's volleyball transfers and rumors in the 2018 summer transfer window from French Ligue A for July 13, 2018.

GFC Ajaccio Volley-Ball announced 7 contract extensions and 4 signings. The players with whom the club has continued its collaboration are middle blockers Brett Dailey (CAN), Dejan Radić (SRB) and Thiebault Bruckert, outside hitters Timothée Carle and Sylvain Morgado, opposite Ludovic Castard, and libero Jean-François Exiga. As for the newcomers, they are Bosnian opposite Milan Pepić (FC Tokyo, Japan), Argentinean outside hitter Nicolás Méndez (Arago de Sète Volley Ball), and setters Pierre Pujol (Berlin Recycling Volleys, Germany) and David Guelle (Saint-Quentin Volley, Division 2).

Rennes Volley 35 found a new libero. It is a 26-year-old libero Bryan Duquette who spent the last season with Chaumont Volley-Ball 52 Haute-Marne with whom he played the playoff finals and national cup final as well as competed in the CEV Champions League last season. Duquette was a part of Canada national team in the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Nations League. A 25-year-old Portuguese setter Miguel Tavares also joined Rennes, coming from the French cup winners Tourcoing Volley-Ball. Tavares won the 2018 FIVB Challenger Cup with Portugal and will compete in the next year’s edition of the Volleyball Nations League.

Manuel Coscione is a new setter of Arago de Sète Volley Ball. A 38-year-old Italian played in SuperLega club Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia last season and will bring a significant international experience to Arago as he conquered CEV Cup twice (being named MVP of the tournament once), CEV Challenge Cup once, Italian cup three times, and Italian Supercup twice. He is also an ex-Italy national team member.

Narbonne Volley complemented their outside hitter’s department with a 24-year-old Moroccan player Brahim Ameur. After a one-year break from professional volleyball, Ameur joined Saudi Arabian side Al Khalidiya in the 2017/18.

Supreme are the favorite to win this tournament with their strong majority core NT members, but if they aren't focus, could possibly go NEC Red Rockets way instead like in the pool stage. Reply
