OG W: Dominican Republic – Russia 1:3
In the second round of the group phase, Russia met Dominican team.
Dominicans, preasured by the first round’s defeat, came to this game eager for victory. Their rivals, Russian ladies, continued the Games with the good spirit, and confidence brought from the first match. Bethania De La Cruz led the Dominican team in some though moments against very experienced Russian team and finally lost 1:3 ( 23:25, 15:25, 26:24, 22:25)
