Nordmeccanica Piacenza strengthened competition on the position of a receiver/outside hitter with a player from the French champions, RC Cannes.

In Piacenza, the 22-year-old Marika Bianchini will try to repeat last season’s success when she took title in Italian league with Pomì Casalmaggiore.

She has respectable youth career with the Italian National Team by winning gold medal at the 2010 Junior European Championship and the 2011 Junior World Championship.
