JTEKT Stings defeated Panasonic Panthers 3-1 (21-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-23) who has not scored a victory at this stage of the competition. On the other hand JTEKT have 2 out of 2. Today MVP of teh match Matey Kaziyski scored 23 points for the winning team followed by Hiroaki Asano 21 points while Michal Kubiak scored 21 points and Tatsuya Fukuzawa 19 for Panbthers.
In the second match of the day after five sets Sakai outplayed Suntory Sunbirds although the opponents led 0-2 in sets (21-25, 22 25, 25-21, 26-24, 15-10). Both teams now have 2-2 in win-lost.
In the clash of the foreigners Cuban Yadrian Escobar scored 37 points for Suntory but that wasn’t enough while Brazilian Wallace led Sakai with 33 points.
