After losing the first match in Valencia in four sets, the Dominicans claimed the victory in the second contest at Xativa.
Gina Mambru and Jineiri Martinez were the best scorers for the Dominicans with 14 and 12 points, respectively, while Erasma Moreno and Lisvel Eve-Castillo contributed 9 and 8 in the victory.
Milagros Collar and Ana Correa led the defeated side with 15 and 13 points, respectively, while Sara Folgueira and Maria Segura finished with 9 and 8 in the loss.
The Dominicans will continue training in Spain before traveling to Switzerland where they will be participating at the Montreux Volley Masters.
