China and Japan continued with good results at the World Cup 2015. While China scored a routine win over Kenya – 3-0 (25:7, 25:15, 25:14), Japan defeated South Korea much easier than expected – 3-0 (25:17, 26:24, 25:17).
So, the race for top two spots has really heated up. After the round 7, five teams have the same score – 6 wins and 1 loss. USA is the leader with 19 points, Russia, China and Japan are sharing the second spot with 18 points, while Serbia is just behind with 16 points.
It is important to mention that the first criteria for the final ranking is the number of wins, the second is overall number of points, the third is set ratio, the fourth is point ratio and finally the fifth and the last criteria is head to head clash.
There are 4 more rounds to be played. Two best placed teams at the end will gain tickets for the Olympic Games in Rio 2016!
