The decision was made by FIVB, at the last meeting of the board.

“I would like to thank the Russian Volleyball federation for help and assistance in resolving this case. Change of sport nationality is not an easy procedure. It needs time and patience! This afternoon from FIVB arrived the long-waited confirmation that Rosir Calderon has not only Russian passport, but sport nationality” said Makarov.

She will be treated as a domestic player in Russian league and it also means that she has a right to play for RUSSIA, reports sports.ru.

Where did Andrey Makarov said that Calderon can play for Russian national team? This kind news are making you as gossip sites, I understand you look for sensation, but sloppy work will not bring sensation, its just make’s your work discredited.
She can play in Russian competition as Russian player, nobody mentioned Russian national team.

I really wonder how did she deserve russian citizenship? Got married to Russian? Stayed in Russia certain period of time? And also according to what rule FIVB took the decision? ‘Money decision’???
