Dinamo Kazan
The title holder in the Champions League, the Russian Dinamo Kazan, got even with Rabita in Pool A regarding mutual wins, but this one, in the 5th round, was much more superior.
In theory, this had to be ‘the clash of the titans’, as it was announced by Dinamo Kazan, but everything was over in 70 minutes.
Ekaterina Gamova and Antonella Del Core were a duo which decided the winner. Both scored 17 points.
Katarzyna Skowrońska-Dolata stood out in Rabita with only 8 points.
Rabita is very close from not participating in the playoff. It does not have a chance to be promoted from its pool. Also, Rabita is fourth among third-ranked teams in the entire Champions League and only two best third-ranked teams will enter the playoff.
