WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) announced that the investigation of their Independent Commission registered a total of 643 cases of Disappearing Positive Test Results in Russia between 2012 and 2015 involving athletes from 30 sports. Eight cases were referred to Russian players in indoor volleyball and two in beach volleyball!

Immediatelly after this shocking announcment, the FIVB requested from the World Anti-Doping Agency to disclose the names of 10 Russian players mentioned in the recent anti-doping report of the agency’s Independent Commission, confirms TASS.

Recall that FIVB president Ary Graca has recently stated that the International Volleyball Federation cannot suspend the Russian national teams just because of doping scandals in some other sports. However, this latest update provided by WADA may change the situation quite dramatically.

“The FIVB has zero-tolerance towards doping and has total confidence in its anti-doping system. The FIVB is fully compliant with the WADA code and will continue carrying out its rigorous and robust anti-doping procedures as normal. It is important to reinforce the FIVB remains 100% committed to protecting clean athletes and will take immediate action to suspend any athletes who have infringed anti-doping rules. There will be no further comment by the FIVB until it receives feedback from WADA,” the FIVB press service said in its statement for TASS.

@For His team was involved in systemic doping, the players were administered the PED’s without their knowledge, also even if he knew it was before the ban of meldonium.
