Belogorie Belgorod made quite an upset by beating defending champions Zenit Kazan and settling at the top of the Superliga standings, three days ago, but spilled this huge win in the water by losing 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 27-25) to Dinamo Moscow in Round 18, today! Pavel Kruglov with 14 points and Aleksey Ostapenko with 9 points (3 served aces) were the executioners of Belogorie for which Dmitriy Muserskiy scored 13 points (3 kill blocks). Thus, the magnificent 13-game winning streak of Belogorie came to an end.

Zenit Kazan took advantage of Belogorie’s defeat to return to the top of the standings. The reigning champions of Russia, but also world champions, easily defeated Fakel Novy Urengoy on the road by a 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-20) thanks to 16 points from Maksim Mikhailov. Pavel Moroz delivered 12 points fro Fakel.

I completely do not understand anything, Belgorod has recently won the Zenit and Dinamo Moscow hasn’t won. The next match will be played with Novosibirsk rather they should win.

Re: @Shocked Volleyball Supporter The league in russia is extremely difficult especially to road teams. This is the only season Zenit Kazan sustained losses in any european level including the russian league. It’s been two years of non-stop domination. Other teams are also good but they can be beaten by other clubs including Belogorie. Belogorie isn’t even playing in the champions league this year. They are vulnerable cause they are a very old team.
