SRB M: Grbić summons 22 players for Olympic Qualifications (WIDE LIST)

European Qualification Tournament for the 2016 Summer Olympics will be held in Berlin, Germany on January 5-10.

Serbia are drawn into Pool A with national teams of Poland, Germany and Belgium. Grbić’s side will open the tournament against current world champions Poland, on January 5.

We remind you that two best teams from each pool will secure their spot in the semifinals of the continental qualifications, while only the winners are going to book ticket to Rio Olympics. Silver and bronze medalists will have to play additional qualifiers (World Qualification Tournament) in Japan, on May 14 – June 5.

Preliminary list of 22 players for Serbian National Team:

Setters: Jovović, Mitić, Brđović, Kostić; Opposite hitters: Atanasijević, Starović, Luburić; Liberos: Rosić, Majstorović, Rajković; Middle blockers: Stanković, Podraščanin, Lisinac, Krsmanović, Okolić, Outside hitters/receivers: U. Kovačević, Ivović, Petrić, Katić, Stoilović, Čupković, Borovnjak.
