“In the world, there are two national teams in which I would like to work – these are Serbia and Russia. If I receive an offer to take over the Russian National Team, I will think through,” Terzić revealed to the correspondent of the “Chempionat” after the 2017 CEV European Championship finals in which Serbia beat The Netherlands and won the gold medal.

Sounds repetitive. Serbia and Russia have the same tactical approach. They are just better at serving and have world class middle blockers at his disposal. It is doubtful he’ll make immediate changes if he’s at the helm of Russia.
I’m guessing this is his way of trying to increase his paycheck so Serbia will give him a better offer. Very typical.

I am not sure if a current Secretary General of the Russian volleyball federation, A. Yaremenko and his managing team are ready and suitable partners for such a top world class, but a foreign coach… It is difficult to expect the progress in NT provided RuNVF will not improve and change their attitude towards players and NTs coaches etc… But now a similar situation towards foreign coaches seems to be also in other countries – see Poland etc…
