TURKISH CUP M: Miljkovic, Kooy & Subasi push Halkbank into finale vs Fenerbahce

The Serbian volleyball star Ivan Miljkovic will play for the trophy against his former team where he spent five seasons.

 

Even though Halkbank beat Istanbul BBSK in straight sets it was not an easy game. Kovac's side took the lead after a good attacking performance in the first set. In another two sets, it was very uncertain game as both sides played extended sets 28-26. 28-26.

Miljkovic was the top scorer with 18 points, Kooy added 16 points while Subasi contributed with 14 points. On the other side, Rouzier ended game with 11 points.

Fenerbahce will play against Halkbank in the final, after beating Inegol Bld 3-1 (25-18, 25-21, 30-32, 26-24). Alen Sket was the leading scorer with 26 points, while on the other side Niels Klapwijk had 21.

Semifinals:

Inegol BldFenerbahce 1-3 (18-25, 21-25, 32-30, 24-26)

Halkbank - Istanbul BBSK 3-0 (25-20, 28-26, 28-26)
