USA M: Two youngsters and main stars on Speraw’s list for WL (LIST)

John Speraw, the head coach of US national team has announced the preliminary list for the 2015 World League with two surprising names on it.

USA will compete in Pool B of WL and will play against Poland, Russia and Iran. Thus, Speraw called up currently the best players for that competition along with the two youngsters– the receiver TJ DeFalco and setter Graham McIlvaine.

DeFalco (18, plays for Huntington Beach HS) is the youngest player on this list and he was named MVP and Best Spiker of NORCECA Boys’ U19 Continental Championship (USA won gold).

McIlvaine finished his college career at Ball State in 2014 and played for Marienlyst Odense in Denmark over the winter.

Of course, on the list are the stars such as Matt Anderson, Taylor Sander, Erik Shoji

Receivers: Matt Anderson , Aaron Russell, Taylor Sander, Paul Lotmam, Reid Priddy, Thomas Jaeschke, Garrett Muagututia, T.J. DeFalco, Jayson Jablonsky.

Middle blockers: David Lee, Russell Holmes, Futi Tavana, Max Holt, David Smith, Dan McDonnell.

Setters: Ryan Ammerman, Kawika Shoji, Micah Christenson, Graham McIlvaine.

Opposites: Murphy Troy, Will Price.

Liberos: Alfee Reft, Dustin Watten, Erik Shoji.
