– It seemed that the match would go according to the volleyball truth that whoever does not win 3-0, loses 2-3 … But it did not happen. Why?
– We did not play smoothly. In the first two sets we presented poorly, AZS Politechinka used it immediately. They took a risk that paid off for them. We, however, were much worse. When it was 2-2 in sets we were hoping that we can win the tie-break. We made too many mistakes, and I think it had an impact on the final outcome of this meeting.
– In your position there are very experienced players. Does it frustrate you that you are their substitute in most of the games?
– It seems to me that I play a lot, and each of us has the opportunity to present. I also recently had a chance to play, I am very happy. I think you need to understand these situations. If you want to be in a strong team, which has a lot of great players, you must be aware of the conditions. But you just wait your turn and use the opportunities that you get.
– In recent years, the PGE Skra changed their personnel. Does this situation affect the atmosphere in the team?
– Of course it is sad that our colleagues, to whom we have already grown accustomed to leave the club. Dante Boninfante came ant it will surely fit the team.
– With what do you associate the matches played in the capital?
– This is my home. I’ve always said that as a small boy I came here and watched the games. I wanted to play here. Now I have the opportunity, in front of family and friends, and also very close to home, since I live only ten minutes away from the hall (smile).
