EXCLUSIVE: Bomb from Poland – Malagurski in Police

by WoV

After very successful season in Brazil, Sanja Malagurski decided to move to Poland and competes with Ana Bjelica and Maja Ognjenović in Chemik Police next season.

Malagurski

After a great season in which she won the Super Cup and the Cup of Brazil with Molico Osasco, Malagurski became the target of many clubs. After numerous offers the decision was made – she will play for the Polish champions.

About the season in Brazil, I could talk all my life because I had there a really fantastic year. Certainly, I would stay there if I did not have a great desire for Europe and the Champions League.“ said Malagurski for WoV and added:

Of course, I followed Police because of the Serbian players, and I must say that the Polish league has a really good quality.

You will be in the same team with Maja and Ana?

There is no need to talk about Maja, with her I have the opportunity to play every summer in the national team and I know what she means to a team. And Bjelica, she has the potential to become a great player so I think we’re going to make a nice story and a good team who can do a good job in domestic league and in the Champions League.

The coach of Police is Cuccarini Giuseppe, do you know him?

I know my new coach for a long time and I like his way of keeping the team. For me it is a real pleasure to play in a country which likes volleyball
