Zygadlo gladly accepted to give an interview for WorldofVolley in which he talked about time in Italy, but also about the recent World Championship, in which Poland won the gold medal.

First of all, Lukasz, are you now all healthy and ready for volleyball?

“Yes. It was a serious injury and I needed one year to recover. Of course I had to work the whole time to stay in shape, but now I can say that the worst part is over.”

How does it feel to be back in Trentino? What has changed since you left in 2012?

“Generally when you look at Trentino everybody sees the team which has won everything. Now we have some same faces from that time, but this is a different team, much younger at the first place. Anyway, we want to be the best once again. We can’t say that if we are good in the CEV Cup than we don’t need to focus on the Serie A. No! We want to play as best as we can in all competitions and try to achieve something.”

To talk a bit about the National Team. You spent almost the whole summer with the team, but you were not in the roster for the World Championship in which Poland won the gold medal. What are your impressions after everything is over?

“It was a special championship. I knew that it would be one of the best in the point of the organization, atmosphere and everything else. Although I was not in the team, I watched every game and I was their biggest fan. Guys made an incredible thing for the Polish volleyball. I very happy because they won the gold, and this was one more great impulse for the Polish volleyball.”
