The Turkish fans don’t have to worry as she has confirmed one important thing.
Since 2012 you are a member of Vakifbank. Would you like to play outside of Turkey one day?
“I am not planning to play outside of Turkey in near future because I don’t think that I can live abroad as comfortable as I live in my home country. Also, the Turkish volleyball league is currently the best league in the world.”
At the FIVB Club World Championship 2017, you won your second gold medal with Vakifbank and named the second best blocker of the tournament. How did you feel in that moment?
“It was a unique moment of my life because our all seasons hard work paid off. My team’s success is more important than my individual award.”

Since you are still very young, what is your goal in the volleyball career?
“Like every athlete I have also Olympic dream, I believe that I will realize my dream with my generation and add one Olympic medal to my career.”
Which medal is your favorite?
“Gold medal at the Champions League 2017.”
Do you have volleyball role model?
“Although we don’t play in the same position, my captain Gozde Kırdar has always been my role model and I learned a lot from her about how to have a strong and winning character.”
How do you spend your free time?
“Usually I don’t have a lot of free time but I like to go out with friends for social activities and visit new places,” says Kubrak Akman at the end of the interview for WorldofVolley.
