The Peruvian website made an interesting article on foreign players competing in one of the fastest-growing volleyball leagues in the world at the moment – the Saudi Arabian Men’s Volleyball Super League.

Although there is not a complete information on all foreign players competing in the 2017/18 Saudi Arabian Men’s Volleyball Super League, whose number is 18, managed to get into possession of the names of most of them.

In addition to Eduardo Romay, the first-ever Peruvian Men’s volleyball player competing professionally abroad, from Al Ittihad Jeddah there are 9 more Latin Americans in the Saudi Arabian championship this season: the Argentine Pablo Bengolea (OH, Al Alhi Jeddah), Cubans Raydel Poey (OH) and Hiroshi Centelles (OH, Al Hilal Riyadh), Venezuelan Pedro Siso (Al Nassr Riyadh), Dominican Henry López (Al Ittihad Jeddah), and Brazilians Alan Guilherme Araújo (OH, Al Ibtissam), Bruno Amorim da Silva ‘Brunera’ (MB, Al Taraji Qatif), Hudson Rocha Ventura (OPP, Al Jawa) and Kleist Praia Mendonça (OH, Al Khaleej Saihat).

There are also 7 African players in the Saudi Arabian top division: 2 from Cameroon, 2 from Congo, 1 from the Democratic Republic of Congo, 1 from Rwanda and 1 from Seychelles. One player comes from Asian, more precisely from Bahrain - Yasim Youssif Al Nabhan.

TUR W: Ognejnovic to replace Nootsara in Fenerbahce!?

If Tomkom is kept for next season (though that seems unlikely in my opinion). Fenerbache should think of getting one of her younger NT member as a receiver/wing spiker back up. Even though they aren't as tall as their European counter part, they can receive well and attack too. I'm sure they would be cheaper to higher than most other European options or are they? lol...And they already have a connection with Nootsara, so maybe they can play some fast balls every now and then to score a few quick points too.
