The newly formed Russian Men’s Volleyball club Zenit St. Petersburg, who will instantly join national top division Superliga, has finished its summer transfer activities for the 2017/2018 season.

Zenit signed two players that have been on their radar for a while – the Cuban Oreol Camejo and the Swedish Marcus Nilsson and completed with forming the next season’s roster.

A 31-year-old receiver Camejo has worn the jersey of the Chinese runners-up Beijing last season, while a 34-year-old opposite Nilsson came from Ziraat Bankası Ankara, Turkey.

Besides these two, Zenit (will play Superliga instead of Dinamo Krasnodar), also engaged a few more famous volleyball names this summer. All in all, the 13 players, plus the coach Aleksandr Klimkin (the assistant in Dinamo Krasnodar last season) have reinforced a team that is projected to fight for the title in Russia.
