It’s the story of Branislav Moro, the Serbian head coach, who is at helm of the women’s volleyball team from Pyongyang since May! He is preparing this team for the upcoming Asian Volleyball Women’s Club Championship.

Pyongyang is well arranged town with the very recognizable architecture in which you could see the influence of Russia. Through my volleyball activities I noticed that they are very proud, disciplined and hardworking people. They love their president with all of heart. Such an energy and love reminded me on former Yugoslavia and president Tito” explains Serbian coach.

After arriving in Pyongyang, the sports history of North Korea had been written. The players of the army team “4,25” are currently located in Europe. They will be preparing in Slovenia, then in Serbia.

For the first time after 35 years one volleyball team from North Korea has arrived to Europe” confirms Moro.

You must admit, this is interesting story considering the fact that we didn’t have any information about volleyball in North Korea.
