The first glance on the court in „Lomas de Zamora“ gymnasium, where the hosts Lomas Vóley and UNTreF Vóley played the first round of Argentinian Serie A1 in 2016, shows a huge distance bewtween the edge of the field and commercial panels.
So, in theory there was no chance that some player could save the ball in that area by switching it to the other side of the net. Maybe, some would be able to return it to own part of the field.
But, UNTreF libero Luciano Massimino beat the odds! He switched the ball to the opponents’ side while jumping over the panel and he did it by overhead dig!
