After nearly a three-month break from volleyball, legendary Brazilian receiver will again wear Minas jersey with number 8, after 2014/2015 season. The official presentation of the player will be set soon.
In August, Jaqueline competed at Rio Olympic Games, a tournament which she won twice already, and decided to take a break from volleyball. Until now.
Interestingly, Jaqueline will once again play alongside U.S. star Destinee Hooker, who reinforced Minas last week. In the 2011/12 season, both commanded the strong attack of Vôlei Nestlé/Osasco and won the title in the Brazilian Championship.
“Jaqueline doesn’t need to be commented. She is one of the most complete players in Brazil. She has a very good game volume, with a lot of technical qualities. She is very experienced and plays with a lot of will. She is very talented and will certainly upgrade our team. This is what we hope, we will wait for her arrival,” commented Minas coach, Paulo Barros ‘Paulo Coco‘.
