Jastrzębski Węgiel announced they acquired a new player until the end of the season.

A 31-year-old German receiver Sebastian Schwarz joined Polish Men’s volleyball team Jastrzębski on the basis of the medical transfer in place of U.S. player Scott Touzinsky, who had to finish his sports career due to knee injury.

Schwarz is a well-known player to the fans in Poland since he has been wearing the jersey of Trefl Gdańsk from 2014 to 2016, winning silver medal in PlusLiga, Polish Cup and Polish Super Cup once each. The greatest achievement of Schwarz on a club level is the trophy in the CEV Champions League with VfB Friedrichshafen.

Schwarz, who collected 150 caps for the German National Team, started the season in the Russian side Kuzbass Kemerovo before they terminated the contract with him.

WL 2017: Last point and celebration of Slovenia (VIDEO)

I think that they proved it on volleyball court that they deserve to play in the group 1 among best teams. They were way better than other teams in group 2. Any other decision than that would be unfair. Reply

WL 2017: Slovenia rout Japan to win Group 2, still hoping to advance to elite division (VIDEO)

Re: @John Doek it is pretty obvious that we were not talking about the broadcasting quality of the finals but about the (lack of) consequences of this result in the future WL. If the FIVB holds on to that new idea of them then the result of this final which means 'Slovenia goes to Group 1' and 'Italy goes to Group 2' will never happen. That idea of the FIVB eliminates the competitive fairness of the WL and destroys fair chances of small countries like everyone should know which countries they are by now.

So, if Slovenia doesn't promovate it is without a doubt a waste of time.
