The only two teams that conceded no set in the opening round of the 2019/20 Brazilian Men’s Volleyball Championship regular season, EMS Taubaté Funvic and Sesc RJ, have repeated the same output in Round 2.

EMS Taubaté Funvic wrote down their second straight-set win in as many games of the 2019/20 Superliga Masculina regular season. The team coached by Renan Dal Zotto downed Ponta Grossa Vôlei, who replaced Botafogo (withdrew from the competition) at the last minute, by a 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-20) in front of own fans.

Ricardo Lucarelli was the top scorer of the match with 14 points and by making an impressive attack success rate of 82% (9/11). Ponta Grossa (formerly known as Caramuru) obviously didn’t have enough time to compose a squad knowing that they came to the match today with only eight players!

Sesc RJ swept Vôlei UM Itapetininga at home ground in Rio de Janeiro by a 3-0 with Wallace Souza scoring 11 points.

Re: @Game changer Kim is doing better this season than last. I think She was made captain of Ecz Vitra. Natalia is doing fine. She does great in regular matches. The only issues I see is she doesn't kill the ball in important matches. Novara can't afford Boskovic. She is making at least $1M euros per year.

Re: @Game changer Tijana Boskovic and Jovana Brakocevic play the same position, opposite, so they will never play in the same team because none of them want to sit on a bench
