EMS Taubaté Funvic wrote down their second straight-set win in as many games of the 2019/20 Superliga Masculina regular season. The team coached by Renan Dal Zotto downed Ponta Grossa Vôlei, who replaced Botafogo (withdrew from the competition) at the last minute, by a 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-20) in front of own fans.

Ricardo Lucarelli was the top scorer of the match with 14 points and by making an impressive attack success rate of 82% (9/11). Ponta Grossa (formerly known as Caramuru) obviously didn’t have enough time to compose a squad knowing that they came to the match today with only eight players!

Sesc RJ swept Vôlei UM Itapetininga at home ground in Rio de Janeiro by a 3-0 with Wallace Souza scoring 11 points.
