Vôlei Renata are undoubtedly the hit of the 2019/20 Brazilian Men’s Volleyball Championship regular season!


Vôlei Renata, more famous by the name Campinas, took the scalp of one more title favorites in the 2019/20 Superliga Masculina regular season. After beating Sesc RJ and Sada Cruzeiro in two previous games in the competition, Vôlei Renata have defeated Sesi-SP as well: 3-1 (17-25, 25-21, 25-15, 25-23).

This win placed the team from Campinas to fifth place in the charts. In case they manage to beat current champions EMS Taubaté Funvic in the next round, Vôlei Renata will complete a sweep of all four major contenders for the title in Superliga this season. Gabriel Vaccari and Renan Buiatti led the winning side with 16 points apiece today, while Michel Saraiva made a 79% attack (11/14). Alan Souza noted 21 points for Sesi.

Sesi-SP - Vôlei Renata 1-3 (25-17, 21-25, 15-25, 23-25)

Ponta Grossa Vôlei - Vôlei UM Itapetininga 3-2 (25-17, 21-25, 22-25, 29-27, 15-12)

Sesc RJ - APAN Blumenau 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-22)

Pacaembu Ribeirão Preto - América Vôlei 3-2 (23-25, 25-17, 25-23, 27-29, 28-26)

December 5:

EMS Taubaté Funvic - Denk Academy Maringá Vôlei 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-21)

January 6, 2020:

Sada Cruzeiro - Fiat/Minas

They say that its because at the tie, the hitters were just tipping the ball, instead of hitting it hard. Then Gattaz, as any captain should do, tried to raise the team up in a way i think she lost it a little bit . Then Kasi was a little too empathetic and started arguing back.
I think Gattaz was wrong in the way she spoke to her team but Kasi was also wrong. Anyway, they said that they already talked and set everyhing right! #LetsGoMinas Reply
