The middle blocker Adenízia Silva has signed the contract with Bauru after leaving the Italian side Savino Del Bene Scandicci, for which she competed since the 2016/17 season.

Before moving to Italy, the 33-year-old former Brazil National Team member, with whom she won the 2012 London Olympics, played her entire professional career for only one club – Osasco/Audax. Adenízia won the FIVB Club World Championship once, South American Club Championship 4 times (named MVP once) and Brazilian Championship 2 times with the team from São Paulo. With Brazil, in addition to the Olympic Games, an experienced middle blocker won the FIVB World Grand Prix (currently FIVB Volleyball Nations League) and South American Championship on 5 occasions each, as well as the FIVB World Grand Champions Cup once.
