After the decision for Women's Volleyball Championship, the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) held a meeting with representatives of men's clubs and decided to postpone the 2019/20 Men's Volleyball Championship for a month, when new meeting is scheduled.

“CBV understands that at this point the best decision would be to conclude the championship, but as always, it was put to a vote, and with 10 votes in favor and 3 against, it was decided to meet again in a month and to analyze situation and possibilities once more. Meanwhile, the Banco do Brasil Superliga remains suspended”, said Renato D'Avila on behalf of the CVB.

For the first time in history, Italy won’t participate in VNL

Well Sports Fans, the reality is that Italy won't be alone and you can bet more Federations will do the same as this worlwide pandemic evolves. Summer sports for all will not be happening and I can forsee European Leagues holding off until late October and November. Budgets for all clubs and federations are in a holding pattern until we get a better grip on this virus. Its actually a smart decision by the Italians. Hopefully the Atheltes use this time to rest and strengthen their bodies Reply
