The head coach of Zenit Kazan Vladimir Alekno has commented on the win of his team against the Belgian team Knack Roeselare:

I think the team thrilled the audience with the whole mood and spirit they put into this game tonight. Before the match, the guys said it was a kind of rehearsal before an important Russian Championship match against Kuzbass, and it turned out a success,” says Vladimir Alekno, head coach of Zenit KAZAN.

The head coach of Knack ROESELARE, Steven Vanmedegael has praised the performance of his players:

It was important for us to turn up the heat and exert a bit more pressure on the opponent. And we managed to do it playing as a team. We have a very young team, but in both matches, we managed to claim at least one set in a clash with the first line-up of Zenit KAZAN. We got a lot of experience from this.”

PHI W: Foton and Sta. Lucia open Superliga in a winning way

As exciting as it is to see foreigners putting up a show for your fans, it does nothing to help the development of the local talents. And some teams even have Filipino Americans playing as 'locals', while still having the additions of foreign players on the same team as well. Why not just have those Fil American count as the foreigners, so they won't take the space of locals? The Philippines ranks #117, I think you guys should get your act together first. Even North Korea ranks higher, has a NT and program, but no league........and that says a lot. lol Reply
