CEV CUP: The semifinal pairs determined

CEV CUP, both men’s and women’s tournaments, are very close to an end since there are only four teams battling for a trophy.


In the women’s competition, the Hungarian Bekescsabai have made a historic result after advancing to the semifinals. They will meet the Italian team Busto Arsizio.

One thing is certain – Romanian side will play in the final as two teams from this country are playing in the other semifinals: Stinta Bacau vs. Alba Blaj. The first matches will be played on February 26, while the second leg games will be played on 5th March.

The rival of Kuzbass Kemerovo in the men’s semifinals will be Galatasaray while the other pair is Olympiacos – Trentino.

Recall that Belogorie is currently title holder in the men’s competition.

Re: @Sorin Acela I agree. The Final game should be a personal celebration of the team, the top of the season and look! 2 teams at the same time. This show was not organized for the teams, but for the politicians...
