CL W: Paola Egonu leads Novara to the win over Stuttgart!

The Italian side clinched the win at the CEV Champions League quarterfinals opening.

 

They headed away in Germany and defeated Stuttgart in four sets 3-1 (25-19, 26-24, 19-25, 25-20).

Paola Egonu was by far the best scorer of the match with a 33-point contribution to her team’s win. Krystal Rivers scored 16 for Allianz MTV.

The second-leg match between these two teams in Italy is scheduled for 20:30 local time on March 21.  

Women’s CEV Champions League, quarterfinals:

Stuttgart – Novara 1-3 (19-25, 24-26, 25-19, 20-25)

Wednesday:

Dynamo Moscow – Vakifbank 17:00 CET

Scandicci – Fenerbahce 18:30 CET

Imoco Volley – Eczacibasi 20:30 CET

No way to bring a Japanese libero to Fenerbahçe because of the restriction for foreign players. And also Mamba doesn't look like to join Fenerbahce because of Melissa Vargas. Reply

But today she helped to crush Vakif. She is good, i compare her with Gabi. If Fener would win...i wish they win ! I thought she want to go to Italy, strange. Reply
