Rookies Vasas Óbuda Budapest filled in the last vacant place in the group stage of the 2020 CEV Women’s Volleyball Champions League.

Once again, Vasas Óbuda Budapest from Hungary recorded a straight-set win over Partizani Tirana, this time in the rematch in Albania, in the 3rd Round of the 2020 CEV Champions League and qualified for the group stage: 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-16).

Given that winning two sets made the job done for his team, Vasas head coach Jakub Głuszak changed the entire line-up in the third set but these girls were also on a high level. Slovakian Mária Kostelanská top-scored for Vasas with 13 points. Turkish Yeliz Başa made 14 for Partizani. As a result of the drawing of lots, the Hungarian team will compete in Pool D.

Ukrainian Khimik Yuzhny was the other team to secure a spot in the group stage of the 2020 CEV Champions League after the 3rd Round.

CL M: Jastrzębski down Zenit for 2nd time, Russian side needs miracle to go to quarterfinals

Re: @Piker
Yeah, you are right, my bad. They are indeed out already, won matches matter. I don't see Roeselare losing to Vojvodina. Reply

If Roeselare will win a home game against Vojvodina, forget about Zenit in next stage of competition. Reply

'Russian side needs miracle to go to quarterfinals'

They need what!? They just have to win a match with Halkbank at home, that's all. It does not really look like a miracle... Warsaw will play against Perugia but since they struggle with injuries and now lose against Tours they are about to be out of the competition, same with Roeselare.
