Two big matches have closed first legs of the 8th finals of the 2nd tier of the European club competition – the 2020 CEV Women’s Volleyball Cup.

Newly promoted Russian Cup winners Dinamo Kazan swept the reigning CEV Challenge Cup winners Saugella Monza from Italy by a 3-0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-19). The defending champions Unet e-work Busto Arsizio saved the honor of Italian teams in the first leg of the 8th finals by recording a straight-set victory against DevelopRes SkyRes Rzeszów from Poland.
