After the decision of Poland’s Jastrzębski to cancel the trip to Italy for the quarterfinal match of the 2020 CEV Men’s Volleyball Champions League against Trentino, the CEV agreed to postpone the encounter.

“After a continuous exchange of information with all relevant parties, and further to the latest measures adopted by the respective national authorities in order to fight against the outbreak of the so-called coronavirus, the CEV has agreed to postpone the CEV Champions League Volley 2020 – Men quarterfinal match between Trentino Itas of Italy and Jastrzębski Węgiel of Poland. The match was due to take place on Thursday, March 5 at BLM Group Arena in Trento.“

The CEV stressed it will continue to monitor the situation and work closely with both clubs, and asked all members of the European Volleyball family to show solidarity, cooperation, and mutual understanding to deal with these difficult circumstances.
