The Week 1 of the 2018 FIVB Men’s Volleyball Nations League has brought two MONSTER serves!

On Day 2 of the 2018 FIVB Men’s Volleyball Nations League (May 26), the Australia National Team opposite hitter Lincoln Williams fired a 127 kmph serve against Iran to tie an Olympic record which was set by Cristian Savani and Georg Grozer in the 2012 London Games and repeated by Ivan Zaytsev in the 2016 Rio Games.

Only a day after Williams, Zaytsev made 134 kmph serve for Italy against Serbia to break the world record of Matey Kaziyski

Even The Zar“ himself couldn't believe what he has done...

These ball speed cameras are questionable and the new FIVB font is ugly.

For the first time in history, Italy won’t participate in VNL

Well Sports Fans, the reality is that Italy won't be alone and you can bet more Federations will do the same as this worlwide pandemic evolves. Summer sports for all will not be happening and I can forsee European Leagues holding off until late October and November. Budgets for all clubs and federations are in a holding pattern until we get a better grip on this virus. Its actually a smart decision by the Italians. Hopefully the Atheltes use this time to rest and strengthen their bodies Reply
