The Belgian expert Vital Heynen confirmed his decision, which he made in February, that he will no longer coach Friedrichshafen, having a misfortune to end all of his three seasons in the club by losing the Bundesliga playoff finals to the same rivals, BR Volleys.

„At some point, I will come back. Maybe as a coach, as Poland national team coach or I’ll become mayor,“ the 2018 FIVB World Championship winner with Poland national team said at his last press conference as Friedrichshafen head coach.

Recall that in February, Heynen explained the reasons for leaving the bench of the German powerhouse at the end of the 2018/19 season.
