ITALIAN SUPER CUP W: Imoco Volley lift the trophy!

It was the remake of 2017 Super Cup final but this time, Imoco Volley Conegliano took the crown!


Imoco Volley Conegliano couldn't imagine a better start of the season. The first gold has been added to their trophy room, after beating Novara in the Super Cup final 3-1 (25-21, 25-17, 17-25, 25-23).

The girls of Imoco Volley had a better start of the game. They managed to control the situation in the first two sets, while Novara had some answer in the third set.

In the fourth, both sides played at a high level but Imoco played slightly better and won the game.

As exciting as it is to see foreigners putting up a show for your fans, it does nothing to help the development of the local talents. And some teams even have Filipino Americans playing as 'locals', while still having the additions of foreign players on the same team as well. Why not just have those Fil American count as the foreigners, so they won't take the space of locals? The Philippines ranks #117, I think you guys should get your act together first. Even North Korea ranks higher, has a NT and program, but no league........and that says a lot. lol Reply
