ITA M: Great Al Hachdadi, Tonno Callipo defeated Kioene Padova

Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia have scored the 3-1 victory in the eighth round of the Italian Superlega Credem Banca.

 

It was a one-man show! The Moroccan opposite Mohamed Al Hachdadi showed an amazing performance against Padova, scoring 35 points to push his team to 3-1 win (29-31, 25-20, 28-26, 25-22). Todor Skrimov added 18 points for this great victory.
Armando Torres with 20 points and Luigi Randazzo with 16, were the top scorers in a jersey of Kioene Padova.

Tsimafei Zhukouski (Tony Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia): "It's a very important victory for us, we got three points and I'm very happy. The secret of victory in my opinion is that today we have shown great unity, we have made a great team game.”

Valerio Baldovin (Kioene Padova): "I think that Vibo played an excellent game, in reception and with the opposite that we could not stop. The regret is that we were not precise in counterattack situations".

As exciting as it is to see foreigners putting up a show for your fans, it does nothing to help the development of the local talents. And some teams even have Filipino Americans playing as 'locals', while still having the additions of foreign players on the same team as well. Why not just have those Fil American count as the foreigners, so they won't take the space of locals? The Philippines ranks #117, I think you guys should get your act together first. Even North Korea ranks higher, has a NT and program, but no league........and that says a lot. lol Reply
