ITA M: Wilfredo Leon keeps Perugia on top, Lube still chasing them!

It’s going to be an interesting race in the last three rounds.


Perugia have scored another victory to stay on top of the men’s standings. They defeated Padova in straight sets. Wilfredo Leon had a good game, finishing it with 21 points, while Aleksandar Atanasijevic added 15.

Lube have also scored the victory but Milano have managed to steal one set from them. Tsvetan Sokolov led Lube to the win with 17 points, while on the other side Timothy Maar had 18.

The Slovenian international Klemen Cebulj has also made a debut for Milano.

Lube Civitanova – Milano 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 27-25, 25-21)

Perugia – Padova 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-22)


Siena – Modena

Trentino – Ravenna

Sora – Top Volley Latina

I don't like the comment that Balkestein-Grothues underperformed! We all know she is there to receive and defend. As you said: 0 aces for Brazil, so she did a great job! Aswell did Schoot, who was almost perfect in receive and defence! Reply
