ITA W: This is Italy’s roster for the Olympic qualifiers

In their quest to secure a presence in Tokyo 2020, the Italian women's national team will have maximum strength for the Pre-Olympic tournament.

 

With no big surprise, coach Davide Mazzanti has announced the 16-player squad for the matches between August 2 and 4 against the Netherlands, Belgium and Kenya.

The world volleyball star Paola Egonu will lead the Italian team in this tournament.

Check out the list:

Setters: Alessia Orro, Ofelia Malinov, Carlotta Cambi

Opposites: Paola Egonu, Indre Sorokaite

Middle blockers: Cristina Chirichella, Anna Danesi, Sarah Fahr, Raphaela Folie

Outside hitters: Lucia Bosetti, Elena Pietrini, Miriam Sylla, Caterina Bosetti, Sylvia Nwakalor

Líberos: Monica De Gennaro, Beatrice Parrocchiale

If the challenge video is not shown in the stadium, then it leaves room for corruption to move in (some would argue it is already here). If a referee decision does not go your way, it is only natural you would want to see evidence as proof. Reply
