Sir Safety Conad Perugia seem unstoppable in the 2019/20 Italian Men’s Volleyball Championship regular season.

Sir Safety Conad Perugia scored the sixth consecutive victory in the 2019/20 SuperLega Credem Banca regular season. The last one, for now, came in the big derby against Itas Trentino in and advanced match of Round 13: 3-1 (25-21, 20-25, 25-19, 25-23). The game has heated up in the fourth set when there were a couple of potentially exploding situations on the court. First, León and Vettori stared down at each other and then the same situation happened between León and Čebulj after Trentino’s block on the Cuban-born player.

Lorenzetti’s guys are really struggling lately as they suffered as many as the third defeat in the last four matches. Perugia came in second with 9-2 and 25 points. Serbian Aleksandar Atanasijević and Wilfredo León led Perugia with 26 and 23 points, respectively. Atanasijević’s compatriot Uroš Kovačević tallied 15 points for Trentino, while Slovenian Klemen Čebulj made 81% reception (16 digs, 44% perfect).

TUR W: VakıfBank’s hellish plan – Bartsch to come in January, Egonu in summer!

Re: @Anon - Zhu Ting is not gonna go anywhere till Olympic is over. Wrist injury gonna take sometime to heal and recover. Hopefully She will fully fit before Olympic. Otherwise defending the title is almost impossible for China without Zhu Ting.

If Zhu Ting is still hurt or injured during the tournament, the coach can use her as a middle blocker. I feel she is the best blocker on the team. She has great instincts of where the hitter will hit to, she is tall and her hang time is very good. She is one of the more effective blockers against Egonu.

Thailand win title in Women’s Volleyball at SEA Games for 12th successive time

The different in strength and overall qualities of the team between Thai and the rest are just too great . Thai can still win even with their reserve members. Reply

CL M: Benfica shock Warszawa to record first-ever triumph in pool stage

VERVA Warszawa's defeat was due to Anastasi who too underestimated his opponent.
Starting lineup of VERVA in the match included 4 players who rarely played in the domestic league.

In order to make it to the playoffs, VERVA had to win this match against the weaker team but lost.
Therefore, it became very difficult for VERVA to pass through the group.
