All volleyball activities for today are suspended by the Italian Women’s League to stop the spread of coronavirus in the country. The coronavirus outbreak in Italy is the biggest outside of Asia, causing the death of three people, while more than 150 are infected.

This decision was recommended by the Minister for Youth and Sport. The Italian League imposed its suspension to the matches of the 2019/20 Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile regular season in the regions of Lombardy, Veneto, and Piedmont in which five matches of Round 20 were to be held today.

The only encounter that took place was between Il Bisonte Firenze and Savino Del Bene Scandicci, in the region of Tuscany. The latter prevailed by a 3-1 and took over third place in the charts from Igor Gorgonzola Novara.
