The four-time consecutive Kazakh Women’s Volleyball Championship winners Altay Ust-Kamenogorsk made the change of the head coach.

The Italian expert Luca Chiappini agreed to terms with Altay for the 2019/20 season. A 45-year-old coach came to Kazakh league four-time successive titleholders from the Italian top division side Lardini Filottrano.

Chiappini replaced Ukrainian-born expert Yuriy Panchenko who was at the helm of Altay in the previous two seasons.

Altay announced parting ways with the Puerto Rican duo – the middle blocker Ana Sofia Jusino and opposite hitter Julymar Otero.
